CRAFTED FROM TRADITION

In the heart of Tequila, Jalisco, the Landeros brothers, sons of agave farmers, founded this distillery in 1995. Faced with the challenges of agave cultivation, they turned unsold agave into distillate in a small distillery. In 2011, recognizing an opportunity for growth, the Landeros brothers invited investors to join their venture. This moment marked the formal establishment of Familia Landeros S.C. de R.L. de C.V., signifying the official beginning of our journey.

HONORING LEGACY

Our dedication to preserving tequila's tradition led us to choose the brand "El Tío Atanasio 103" in honor of Manuel Garcia's uncle, a farmer and tavern owner. As a certified tequila distillery since 2017, we've shortened the name to simply "Atanasio." Uncle Atanasio taught us that "a daily sip of wine harms no one" and that responsibly enjoying a good "wine" (as it was called in his time, referring to wine-mezcal/vino mezcal) promotes health, joy, and well-being.

QUALITY OVER QUANTITY

Committed to connoisseurs, our mission is to produce tequila with a traditional character that respects good production practices. We envision our tequila becoming a global symbol of quality and responsible consumption, promoting tequila culture worldwide.
